Fall Film Series-Saving Face & Open Heart

Friday, October 18th |  7:00pm | The Cube

Join the MCA this fall at The Cube for the Fall Film Series!

This fall we will be featuring a powerful documentary every Friday in the month of October.

On October 18th we will be showing a double feature! The first movie in the double feature is, Saving Face. Saving face is the award winning film about a doctor who returns to Pakistan to help those scarred by acid attacks.

The second movie we will be showing is, Open Heart. Open Heart is a film about eight gravely ill Rwandan children who travel to the Salam Center, Africa's only free-of-charge, state-of-the-art cardiac hospital, to receive life-saving heart surgery.

Dr. Vincent Piturro will be present to lead an educational discussion before each film. This event begins at 7:00pm and is $5 per ticket. Residents, bring your resident card and receive a $4 credit at our concession stand! The concession stand will sell beer, wine, soda & popcorn. The Cube is located at 8371 Northfield Blvd.
